I'm a Personal Assistant for a large organisation shortly being made redundant and have for years wanted to be a Nail Technician but never had the spare cash before, so I have decided to retrain. Have checked out Nailzone and NSI's websites but cannot find a Creative training school in the Glasgow area. I've already obtained an ILA for my employer to provide proof of my earnings but just need to decide on what course. Would welcome advice from Nail Tech's

I thiink I'm right in that CND can't take ILA which is unfortunate, because that is who I personally woould choose to train with.....have a good search around the forum though and make up your own mind. The fingertips centre is just off the motorway this side of Edinburgh so not too far to go. Give them a ring and have a chat wth them.

Please contact Fiona Wallace

[email protected] to get the most accurate information on CND in Scotland. She is the CND official distributor and training center and nail supply store for Scotland. She and her team will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Good luck for the future.

I would also add my tuppenceworth and recommend The Fingertips Centre in Edinburgh too. Give them a call and they'll take wonderful care of you.

I'm doing the course with Nailzone just now. I was a bit worried about going ahead with it as it was only two days and the others were all alot more expensive and a lot longer however it is a good introduction for a complete beginner and its a very small group you learn in. It is just a beginners course but you can expand your knowledge by booking on to other courses. Im really enjoying it. Think you just have to be prepared to practice lots in your spare time.

hi there, as this is just the start of your journey try to find out what other courses they offer, do they offer one to ones, what sort of support they offer you when your course is finished.
I trained with creative and I have a friend who trained with NSI the help and support that I received was far better when her course had finished she felt she had no one to turn to when she was having problems.

good luck
