Hi everyone,
im new to the glaze n go that NSI do.. i love it over a natural enhancement but wondered if its ok to put over a natural nail and also if i paint the nails a colour could i put it over the polish to make it last longer ?

Any advice would be fab

Adele;)

Glaze n Go is not meant to go over polish if your looking for a gel top coat to go over polish the i recommend NSI Thermoshield.

Will that buff off like the glaze n go ? and can i put either of those over a natural nail ?
cheers

Star Nails Quattro Clear can go over polish - BUT polish has to be really dry so therefore not feasible unless your customer can wait about til polish truly dries, just peels off otherwise. Glaze n Go is fantastic stuff for on top of gel/acrylics do not buff nails, just file with no finer than 150 grit file, cleanse, Glaze n Go and cure for 90 seconds and voila! no tacky layer to remove after curing.

ok thanks, and yeah i've been using it on natural looking gel/acrylic and i love it to

Thermoshield can be removed with polish remover. It does not need to be buffed off. One other things to note, neither Thermoshield or Glaze 'n Go is meant to be used over a natural nail. Both are formulated for enhancments (acrylic/gel).

I actually put Glaze n go over polish! Works really well as long as enamel is touch proof. If not, it tends to bubble and bobble. It is applied on top of acrylic overlays though.... Polish lasts for such a long time....give it a go x

like mentioned star nails gf21 clear is the best for the job imo. my lady's are amazied by how long the polish stays on for. make sure the polish is dry tho if not it get creases. but this hardly ever happens only if im in a rush lol
( i love the stuff, its also great when one of your lady brings in a cheapy polish that they have on ther toesmakes it lasts som much better) xxx

i know this is an old thread, but i didnt really want to make a new one for such a simple question.. im thinking of applying a polished french to my acrylic nails.. would this be ok if i make sure the polish is really dry?

No matter how dry the polish is - glaze n go will most likely crack, polish has a smooth finish and glaze n go needs a rough surface to adhere to, which is why you don't buff prior to application :)

You can use Young Nails ManiQ clear gel over polish. You can even mix it with polish to make a gel polish. It's fantastic. It soaks off in 10-15 mins.

Hi JayJay69

Does the star nails gf21 still have to be set under a lamp when over normal nail polish and how long would you say the polish lasts when using the star nails gf21 as a top coat? Also how do you remove, do you soak?

thank you
