:rolleyes:hiya any help will be appreciated!!
Recently have bought a pot of nsi pink masque and to be honest im not keen on the colour its far to ****** looking for me , so just wondering instead of wasting it, is there anything i could mix with it to make it a bit more clearer looking ?

not100% sure about this but i would think that if it was mixed it was still be the same colour as the colour is strong but best thing would be to try it on a tip to see if its mixable. sorry im not the best at explaining things so hope u know what i mean.

Ive just bought the NSI purely pink masque and its really nice. i have the purely pink too which is semi translucent so mixed with some opal shimmer also does a good job of masking. i didnt like the pink masque either it was chalky looking i thought. i have onlt done one set that i have liked with [pink masque and the girl wanted her nails really long and wanted to keep the length of her own n nails so i used it to mask her free edge and they ended up looking nice with that colour because they were longer i think.

So i would say def get some purely pink masque as its actually nice to use for a pink on anyones nails not just someone needing a coverage pink
hth xx

I had some sheer pink and radiant pink running low on both so mixed them together cos practically same that was fine..
Then i added some pink masque to make it last bit longer n i ruined it.

I think u could mix it with coloured acrylic like black blue etc wouldn't recommend for glitter though

I have used Attraction Pink Masque. This is what i have done with it - please note that this is the way I choose to work with it, not NSI's recommendation.

I use it purely as a Masque/Cover Powder - to cover a short free edge. I apply it thinly in zone 2 and blend taper it well into the front of zone 3. I then continue with my choice of pink power in zone 2 and 3. ie I use it like a concealer just to hide the free edge or flaw.
Another way is I have taken a small scoop, placed in a small jar and added a little red (must mix very well) to give a slightly pinker colour. (a little like CND's custom blending techniques)
IMO though the CND opaque powders are great as they are already blended into Cool, Neutral and Warm, and are opaque with colour, not cloudy ifkwim so therefore I do not have to put another pink powder over the top.

NSI Geeks, how do you work with the Pink Masque Powder?

i would be interested to see what i could do with the pink masque as well...although it does hide the flaws it has a bit of a 'morgue-ish'look to it. Also, sometimes the finish on it isa bit uneven- I think this may be my ratio- any tips on how to avoid this?:Grope:

i ended up buying the purely pink masque and i love the colour of it,ive done a few sets with it now but even my clients that have got decent nails to start with prefer me to use it than the other pinks so it was definately a great investment.
if i were you i would use just a small amount at a time and try different mixes with the pink masque and see what happens or try phoning nsi and see if they have any ideas.x
