Hey people

still having a mare with smile lines!!

im just finding that the product is drying far to quick to shape my smile lines.

When i use clear tips i apply the white acrylic, push up to both sides but when i get to shaping the smile i find that the acrylci has more or less set and when i try to make the smile line i end up with a sticky residue which then makes the tip cloudy looking?

is it the tips? i dont tend to use forms alot but i dont seem to have as much problem with the products drying so quickly.

Any advice wud be much appreciated?

Hi Lea

It sounds like you are either working with the bead too dry causing it to set quicker, or you are working too slowly. You need to ensure you do not wipe your brush out of monomer at all until you have finished spreading the smile line. The extra monomer in the brush is essential to keep the bead pliable for as long as possible.

Secondly it sounds like your smile is not really smiling at all from the side to side application, rather you are coming back in to push the smile in. This will always make for a messier and harder to perfect smile line.

Take a look at Sam Sweet aka 'the geek's tutorial
