Hi all,

I'm after some advice. I'm doing a set of nails on my friend tomorrow. I went to see her the other night and had a look at her natural nails while I was there.

The problem is they grow upwards at the free edge and her nail plates are tiny! This is only my 4th set of nails, as I'm still training with creative.

Is it going to be possible to do these enhancements? If so which tips would be most suitable? I've been using velocity tips, but I also have some sample packs of all the creative tips, which I got in my training kit.

All advice would be much appreciated.

Thanx

Hi sassy_minx24,
Well sounds like she has ski jump nails, or spoon shape nails.......
You can still do enhancement on her........

Right here it goes........
Trim the nail back to the free-edge line........
Reduce the contact area of the tip to a minimum.....
Use a Gel adhesive and attache the tip at a downward angle, check the angle of the tip from side on, to make sure it curves downwards.
Then proceed as usual...........

Hope this helps
love Ruth xxxx
