Hi, I have just purchased the Silhouette dermalift machine to offer non surgical facelifts, as well as the diamond-dermabrasion machine. I have also been approached by a practitioner who specialises in botox and fillers. Does anyone else offer these treatments? Not sure whether offering both is a bit of a contradiction or just giving the client more of a choice?

I would think of it as a choice? C

We use a silhouette dermalift with great results. We state on our Web page that we don't offer botox or fillers and we never will but not because they're contradicting what we do but because I've never wanted to. We have many clients who come in and say "what can be done with my skin - and don't say botox" because it's just not something they want but for all of that, I'm sure there will be some who will always want the quick fix.

If you go ahead, don't just accept this practitioner because they've contacted you, question their skills, insurance, qualifications and knowledge. These could be your clients you're recommending so make sure you can recommend.

Thanks for your comments. It is something that I have considered personally, but may not now if Dermalift is as good as it sounds!!

I've already been in contact with various practitioners prior to this particular person contacting me so I feel pretty clued up on what to ask re. insurance, qualifications and client feedback. There are some really dodgy so called practitioners out there that I wouldn't touch with a barge pole!!

A personal thank you though Vic for always providing me with your thoughts and advice, it really is appreciated.
