Oil before waxing

it was mentioned to me that you can oil the skin prior to waxing , anyone heard of or do this x
 
I cleanse and talc is my client is ok with talc.
 
Yes, I use oil, and I think you'll find that the major players in the wax world do the same. Certainly for intimate waxing I wouldn't do it without oil, but I find it's great for strip waxing too.
 
Yes i use oil,
it creates a lipid barrier between the wax and the skin,
you put 1 or 2 drops into your palm and apply it to the area you are going to wax,
you only need a very small amount so if you can see it shining on the skin just blot it with some tissue or couch roll,
the wax will grip to the hairs rather than the skin when using an oil and it makes it more comfortable for the client hth
 
i only disinfect the are then talc, i've tried to use oil but maybe i used too much because when i applied the strip wax it never stcuk to the skin, or the hair! hmm
