I thought I always had oily skin but when I had a pamper party the therapist said I have combination skin as that is what most people are, so since then I have said I have combination skin.

I have an oily t-zone, blackheads on my nose and around my cheeks (I think I have some on my chin as well) my cheeks dont feel oily but if I use a too rich moisturiser then I am oily all over my face so I have to use lightweight moisturisers.
I suffer from breakouts as well.

Please can you tell me what I am?

Thanks

You're the same as me, that's what you are! :)

I use products for normal/combination skin. At the moment I'm using Decleor Aromessence ylang ylang range and I find it suits me very well. Having said that, it would be better for you to go to a reputable salon and have a consultation with a good therapist. That way they can actually see your skin and will be able to assess it much better, and make an accurate diagnosis as to what you should be using. See if you can get some samples to try at home, so you can see how your skin responds over the course of a few days. I know certain moisturisers make my skin clog up and break out within a couple of days, especially ones with SPF in them. It's just a question of trying things and seeing what suits you.

This has happened with nearly all of the clients I have seen. Clients tend to think they are something they are not as products play a big part in this. They can make the skin oily or dry if you use the wrong thing.
You can use different moisturisers on different parts of your face if need be. It sounds to me like you have combination skin but cannot be sure without seeing it. Go to a salon and have a face map done.xxx

Thanks for your help. :)
