Well today started great, the sun is shinning the birds are singing, i had a call to say a salon im really intrested in is available to rent, great!
So i started looking for my certificates to sort out insurance and get organised but to my horror i cant find them. i think when i last moved house i must have thrown them out, i could cry!
I qualified in 1997 nvq 2 then 1998 i gained itec in body therapy. i worked really hard for these qualifications so im gutted i could have done this.
has this happened to you?
im in such a panic and dont know what to do, so any advise from you would be great.

try to call the college you trained from and ask them what organisation to get in contact with to get copies, I am sure if you google NVQ you can get onto their page, and from there you should find a no to call, they will be able to tell yo how to get new ones, and how much for copies etc, good luck with the new salon xx

Thanks Ruth.
Ive contacted the colleges i went to and fingers crossed this will be resolved quickly, i just hope this doesn't prove a costly mistake!
What a dizzy mare!!!

Hey!

This happened to my boyfriend (plumber!) the other day so you're not the only one!!

We went to nvqweb.com they say this . . .

Lost your NVQ certificate?

We have been contacted a lot recently by people requesting help to track down a replacement NVQ certificate. Here is some information to help...
The good news is it should be fairly straightforward if you know who your awarding body is, the bad news is it may cost you around £30. Just call or email the awarding body that issued your original certificate. Here are some of the relevant pages for the larger awarding bodies...

Edexcel (Btech) - http://www.edexcel.com/iwantto/Pages/Replace-voc-cert-students.aspx
City & Guilds - http://www.cityandguilds.com/43440.html

If you are unsure who your awarding body was then you have a harder task. Especially as some awarding bodies may have changed name or been taken over. Try searching on Google for your qualification and the awarding bodies that offer it.

That's about all, sorry for the bulk jargon just copied and pasted!!

Hope this helps!! Good Luck! xxx

Thanks Mckenna,
