hello!i need to ask you ,guys, for an advice.i recently changed the salon where i was working.tommorow i have booked a set of l&P.the salon uses a awfull sistem(diamond nails)for the powders but the monomer from another(hollywood nails).i dont know what primer:irked:.my problem is that they have only one brush for acrylic and is worse than what i had in school.so ..i am thinking to carry my stuff to work with,or to take at least my brush.is ok to use my precious brush with this salon products, and after to clean it and use it as usual with my products,or i can damage it?

You should use a different brush for each monomer. HTH

You must never use the powders from one system with the monomer of another system...they are not designed to work together.

I was talking about this with the owner of the salon...but she insists to finish all they have first and after she will buy something else.i wonder who told her ,first of all,to choose this products:cry:

diamond nails i haver never heard of but hollywood nails is a realy well known brand here in germany, belgium, the netherlands
i have been using it for over a year now and for me hollywood nails is perfect so you realy need to try it out before you can say it is rubbish or not

i ment about diamont nails that are reaaaaaly rubish:cry:. i know hollywood nails....are v good products.but even so...used only the monomer from this with the powder of another sistem...which is rubbish, the result isnt going to be ok....this i was trying to say.

:green: sorry thought you mean't both products

yeah, stick to a brush per monomere...

esp if yours is a good one, use their rubbish one... then it's not your fault. in some trainings we have to use crappy brushes... it's... the way they chose to make us feel like students again.
so you know, you can make a nice set even with a crappy brush. you just need to spend an hour more filing...

yes,is much more time for filling....i hope the owner will understand someday that she cant have the best results with any products, working by the rule:"let see what we have left...".unfortunatly...i have to work like this for at least 2 years ...till i get the licence to open my own place:irked:
