Hi! First of no i am not a nail tech but i've been doing my own nails for ages and been constantly reading and trying to learn as much about nail safety from home as possible, partly from reading on here. I have encountered what i think might be Onycholysis on my right ring finger and i'm not really sure what to do and if it's safe to put on a new set of nails. I'd be very thankful for any advice. I'm saving up for real classes so i can know these types of things for myself but for now i'm reallt hoping for some advice. Sorry if the pic isn't great.

This is a contraindication.
Even those of us who are qualified nail techs would suggest our clients seek medical advice from a GP.
I hope this helps.

I’d also recommend not doing your own nails until you’re qualified as you can thin and damage your nail plate.
