Opening a nail salon

Hi, I have the money and wanted to investment in nail salon. I do not have the qualification but my sister is a qualify nail technician and I would like to open a nail salon and let her be the boss in the nail salon. I am more of a sleeping partner. We will get 50% each profit, because I put money out and she use her energy. I heard that you can start it with £15,000 right? And if I have £15,000 and how much I can borrow from the bank? How much is the solicitor? If I miss anything out please point out for me. If you have the experience please guide me though. Thank you before hand.

hi, im just opening a nail salon and i would say 15k is enough to do it with depending on the size of the salon and the number of nail techs you will be having there along with if you decide to do beauty at the salon or tanning?
My salon is a small salon with 2 nail tables in the front room with waiting area, then one spray tan room, uv tan room, beauty room, toilet and storage door cuboard.
as the shop is very old and the rooms are small, ive still spent alot of money. probly 6grand on stock. 7 grand on equitment and then prob like 4 grand on furniture and paint.
they are all est, but im sure you can do it and at least you have the money to do it lol
but if i was you i would be at the salon 24/7 as its your money youve invested not your sister and you need to make it work.
remeber you have to sort out promotions, advertising, producing service menus ect ect ect
opening a salon isnt easy at all.
