I'm 3/4 way through my opi l&p course - currently putting together my portfolio. I am using the grand pointe kolinsky brush that came with the kit but I am finding I am rather awkward with it - can anyone recommend a smaller version ( ie. The same pointy shape - just smaller)

Or is there a brush that you would recommend for beginners.

I am having problems getting my smiles to smile- they are just looking a bit indifferent really !! LOL!

many thanks

I have some photos that I will get round to posting when I get the courage

When i first started in nails i found using a smaller brush was so much easier,
i used the CND pro sculptor brush, it has everything you are asking for,
once you are comfortable with a smaller brush you will need to move back up to a bigger brush as you will find the bigger one easier then if that makes any sense

you should try the OPI brush competition 3000 BRE 53, it's smaller and you take a better amount of liquid when you're training. really usefull for nail art and works for normal clients
