OPI GelColor, glitter not sticking!

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I’ve recently changed over from IBD to OPI gel color and am having problems with loose glitter sticking to the nails. It’s almost like the inhibition layer is not sticky enough to hold it. Can anyone suggest something to make it stick!!

I use OPI Gelcolor too and I’ve never had any problems with this how are you applying it?

Hi,
I use base coat, cure 30sec in LED
2 x colour coat, cure each 30secs
Apply glittter to tacky layer (even though it doesn’t stick very well)
Top coat, cure 30secs.

Yeah I don’t have much issue but usually but sometimes I’ll just put a SUPER thin coat of a soak off builder gel.

Your application sounds ok. Do you use a brush to apply it? The magpie ones are very good I mostly use the applicator and duster brushes.

Hey Hun I use OPI gel too and I put glitter on with a brush then use my finger to push the glitter into the sticky layer then pop a top coat on [emoji3] it just ensures it all sticks in xxx
