Hi guys. I am currently doing my level 2 beauty and going on to do my level 3 in september. I have also just done a 4 day course with magnetic nails doing acrylics. Now im in 2 minds whether to go and do an evening nail tech course in college whilst doing my level 3 beauty. The evening course includes arcrylic (again), gel and further a&p, where i would gain an nvq. Should i do this evening course and gain futher knowledge or just stick to what i have just learned and practice, practise, practise, which i was initially going to do. So what im basically trying to ask is, is the evening course worth doing?

I dont think it can do any harm, the more training the better! Do you get free tuition (and just pay for the kit?) x

I totally agree...i reckon the more training you can do the better without a doubt..if you have the time and you can afford it...go for it! x

Speak to the lecturer running the nail course hun.
I know we had a couple of ladies in the evenings who were doing the beauty course full-time, but because our class wasn't full they got their places free.
It's definetly worth doing I know some of what you're already doing on your course will cross over so you may not have to repeat certain assignments, but double check that with the lecturer because that may have changed.

yeah the course if free, would just have to pay for my kit.

I would say get as much training as possible you can still practise but at least you wont get into any bad habits if you continue on your course.
