Hi guys

Im closed on a monday and someone asked if they could host a ann summers party in the salon the first monday of the month. And it made me think does anyone else host parties ie ann summers, candle parties, flower parties, vase parties etc?

I know someone used to do them in our town and go round peoples houses and sell vases, fake flowers etc etc

I sometimes have Make up and Skincare dedicated days on my days off and it works well.

hth's

I hosted a bag party and an ounces to pounds party. Both did very well.

Whats an ounces to pounds party?

Party to sell gold (and other metal) jewellry. Like when you send it in to those companies that weigh it for you and send you a check. Hostess receives a percentage of sales. hth xx

One of my friends runs a Shoes Galore franchise (shoes, bags & belts) and she often holds sales in hairdressers, beauty salons and even on some evenings in local pubs (as well as home parties).

It's definitely a win-win situation as I went to one of the sales in a hairdressers that I wouldn't normally go in. The hairdressers were handing out £10 discount vouchers to everyone who came, and me and two others I know have used them and I've then been there again with my daughters for their haircuts. In addition, the hairdressers is now booking me for spray tanning not only for the staff, but for a couple of their clients too.

xx
