owning a nail bar

do any of you own your own place? can you tell me some of the pros and cons?

i would love to have my own place, and have a good chance of getting one with a friend who is a hairdresser.

Hi Nikita,
I opened my own nail salon last december, it was the best move I ever made.
I get to choose decor, products and opening times, nothing quite like being your own boss. The down side of course is that you and you alone are responsible for make or break.
My friend who is a chiropodist took the back room and I get loads of clients who want nail services from her patients sitting and watching, many have said that they would not go to a nail only salon but being there anyway made the difference. On that note I would encourage anyone to set up with a complimentary discipline.
Go for it, you won't regret it.
