At the moment i only do nail treatments... i have been in talks with a woman to work together and she does beauty so we were thinking of offering package deals. If i was offering these alone with just nail treatments is their any sort of deals i could do under these catagory headings?

me and a couple of my friends have been thinking of doing pamper evenings where you get a group of friends to come to your salon (or you could go to them) and you offer discounted treatments to everyone!

thanks for your reply.. im thinking of offering all these services but idont have a clue what sort of deals i could offer i wanted a cheaper option with say just a simple set of nails then a dearer option which is a set of nails with loadsa gems nail art etc etc i just dont have a clue!! x

Hi

Do a trawl of the internet for all the beauty parlours in your area! This is one of the deals that I found whilst looking at what to charge for my nails.

You could also look on www.Gumtree.co.uk in your local area and look under beauty sometime beauticians have offers on there.

It will give you a good idea of what services and prices are being offered locally.

Good luck, I think its a great idea.

I offer Prom / Grad deals where they get 15% off (typical promotion type deal) and I also offer Birthday promos (10% off - again typical promo type deal) and I also offer a wedding package where the wedding party (mothers of the bride & Groom and the men of the wedding party included if they want) come in and get manicures (or enhancments for the ladies) and the Bride & Groom get their set for free.

Thanks a lot to all thats replied so far... these are all good deals.. im also thnking of doing a "loyalty card" where you have 8 boxes.. each time they come for a FULL set, they then get a box signed and then on their 3rd visit will get free simple nail art...(this shoudl then make them want nail art all the time hopefully because it looks so simple and pretty which means id getmoney from them then paying the next time.) then on the 6th visit they would get free nail art and gems then on the 9th visit they get full set half price.... at the moment the offer is running at £15.00 per full set because i want to make more people aware of my "talents" haha so hopefully this will draw them in and then make them want me when i do a price rise (not much) after their 9th set. fingers crossed.. thanks again. The night parties is what were on about doing but i didnt have a clue how much to charge were meeting tonight to talk about options and packages we could offer.. im liking the wedding one also!! xx thanks

well i go to nandos all the time and on friday i went and they give me one and i thought hrmm why not!! haha if i can find the card ill try and upload it it had like 10 boxes on theirs and then it was like free 1/2 chicken free 1/4 chiken then a full one ... something like that but i thought i could do it will nail art and gems and nails or something silly like that. i thought it might be a way to make people want to keep coming backj ... i hope so anyway!!! x

fab idea, i know MAd Beauty Products do loyalty cards, i get the appointment cardsfrom capital, they do loyaly, appointment and gift vouchers. try www.capitalhairandbeauty.co.uk if they are not on there, best thing is to try your local branch, theres loads of designs available

We met up again last night and sorted some more stuff out, what we were both a bit confused about is what would we say/do at the beginning of the party? i thought if we had our price lists and gave them out whilst saying "hi im such abody and i do sucha thing and this is blah blah..." and also a treatment consultation form which also has what there wanting to have on it so we can ***** the time taken on each person so we can fit them in around how long their treatment takes?! This 1st party is only with friends and family so it wont be such a big scary deal but obviously we want to run it as proffesional and as we would with anyone. so i was wondering how you all started your pamper parties?! xx

My daughter went to a beauty party last night for her friends birthday, they had their nails painted and gemstones added, had the toes painted, glitter tattoo's put on their arms & glitter sprayed onto the hair!

The salon they went to is a new one, it's only been open about 6 months, it was already on the 'menu' for treatments available iykwim!

They charge £10 per child. With all three kiddies we were there about an hour!
