Can anyone advise me how best to package a mobile treatment couch to send via courier ?

Im not quite sure if I can buy a box of some sort to put it in or if I should just buy an obscene amount of bubble wrap to package it up then wrap with something else ?

Im hoping it will be collected rather than have to faff about with delivery but need to sort out just in case. Just wondered what others have done if they've sold their couches on.

Thanks

think it has to be in a box.

Hi

MIne was delivered to me by courier, wrapped just in bubble wrap. No problems - it was absolutely fine.

I tried buying 2 couches off a fellow geek last year and she couldn't send them as they courier refused to take them unless they were in a box. Must be different companies have different rules.

Quite possible. Mine came from Southampton to Derby - can't recall the couriers name but it wasn't dhl or anything like that. They were very quick - it was 1 day after buying it!

You could maybe go to a "white goods" supplier lke Currys or Comet and ask if they have any large boxes you could have. I know they won't be the right shape, but I'm sure you could cut them to size and stick them with packing tape.

Thanks people x

I will contact some packaging suppliers with the measurements and hopefully locate a box of some sort !

I know the postage is going to cost me about £15 so I didn't really want to have to add another £5 - 10 on top just for the packaging but chances are it will be someone who lives miles away that buys it !

Will let you know if I find anything suitable

Why not try contacting a couple of couriers & see what they say about the best way to package it?

Have you sold your couch yet? I'm on the loook out for one and i'm local...
