i am doing a pamper eve tomoro night and am making sure i have covered all my bases , lol , so need any extra pointers you guys might know of :green:
do you guys think if i leave the record cards out clients can fill them in before they actually get sat down for the treatment ?
as i am doing only short mini treatments i dont want to faff about wasting 5 minutes filling a record card in with the client when i can just view it when they have done and ask relevent questions ??
what do you lot do if you do these things ?? its just theres gonna be 150 pwople there and want to keep to a schedule if i am busy
hope you can understand what i am waffling on about  am in nervous / stress out mode now aarrgghhh

I have to say, if i am doing a pamper evening and only doing mini mani's i wouldn't fill out client cards at all. I always treat these things as taster treatments for the people there, so they just want to see what you can do in 10 minutes.

If they come back to you for a treatment, then fill one out. It's a waste of client cards i think.

You could run through how to complete the client card before you start just so that everyone knows how to fill them in, then they can just bring their card over when you are working on them. Could be a good idea aswell because you will have their details and could send them flyers etc when you have got special offers on.

Sounds like good fun!!!

My god and are you expected to do all 150 people or is that just me been a bit thick

lol no hun it has the potential for 150 to come , they buy a ticket (last week 90 tickets had been bought )
there is a few different trades there doing either demo's or offering services ,hairdresser, bodyshop, me :green:, florist etc...
its actually a preview evening to showcase all the xmas stock the hospice shop is doing , cards , wrapping etc...
so i doubt i will be actually doing 150 people (well it would be nice £££ , haha)
but i worked out as i am doing 15 minute treatments i can do a max of 16 people in 4 hrs which i hope i do get coz otherwise i aint really gonna make too much , as i cant charge a lot for the treatments (i am charging between £5 & £7) depending on what it is
and then i will be giving 20% of my takings to the hospice

do you guys think i should charge more ??

When i do pamper evenings, the like you to charge between £5-£8 a treatment, to keep it cheap, so i think you are charging about right, as long as you don't do too much within each treatment, so you end up not covering your costs.

Make sure you cover costs and your time. It is hard when doing these evenings, but this is why i stopped doing them. I found i rarely got clients from it, had to work really hard to cover costs and was knackered afterwards.

Hope yours goes well though hun, it is a good way to advertise and get yourself known locally.

thanks hun i am really only doing it coz its for charity , normally i wouldnt be fussed about doing em
but if nothing else its some free advertising :green:
