hiya i think this is my last request for advice at the moment! lol I have been given the number of a lady who does pamper parties twice a month and she wants a Nail Technician to do acrylics there - there will be a few ladies so I am just wondering how to work it so I can get them all done in one night! :eek:Should i just go along each one and do it in steps ie. after prepping stick the tips on every lady, then go back to the first lady and start again with the next step? (in a kind of production line!) has anyone done this before? I have done a manicure pamper party and had to whittle it down to 20 minutes per client as they were going out for a meal and i had 5 of them to get through in a short time, but doing acrylics normally takes me 1 hr 15 mins - 1hr 30 mins depending on whether they want nail art or not. Thanks!

i am not a nail tech yet! start my training next week :) but when i do pamper partys i do each client fully the ladies dont mind as they are usually nattering anyway they dont mind waiting that the whole enjoyment of eveing getting together. if you done it in steps you would be stopping and starting all the time and that would take even longer than just getting into the way of things and getting on with it plus sitting with nails prepped and stuff they are going to be touching things and touching there nails so this will put iol and stuff onto the nail which you have just prepped so you could have more problems and having to go over things twice that just my opinion lol

To be fair there is only so much you can do in 1 night...without posing the risk if ruining your rep by not having the required time to do the job to the best of your ability...I would say with several clients you would need 2 nail techs....or offer mani's/pedi's only.

how about using popits to cut the time down? no buffing to shine cuts loads of time out, there is a great tutorial on here x

Hi thanks for your replies! What are popits? have heard them mentioned on here but never used them! are they just like the ones you buy in boots etc and just stick the whole thing on the nail?

i was doing a pre wedding party which was six ladys all for tan, Gel Nails and File and Paint on toes the only option was to call in a friend to help with doing the nails. She was slow so i ended up doing most of the work but i just paid her for her time.

have a look in tutorials hun, i've just got some & they are great especially for cutting down on time, great shine no buffing!!!

You could also use Shellac .. My goodness it would be perfect for parties like this and instantly dry and perfect for 2 weeks.

To me there are some treatments that are just not suitable for parties like this and enhancements is one of them. Not unless you have a few technicians working the group.

Maintenance/removal????? Bag of worms in my opinion. Listen to Geeg
