Hi, I offer pamper parties from the age of 5. for 11-17 yr olds i give them nail tips to practice nail art on. For 5-11 yrs I give them a plain cotton party bag each and some fabric pens and get them to design their own party bag which i then fill with sweetie necklace, mini polish and a lipgloss. However.... today the girls (8yrs) had finished their bag designs in 10 minutes and were getting impatient waiting their turn to be polished and tattood! "what other activities have you got Miss". I was embarrassed as i told the mum i would occupy them. this is the first time i felt pressured!

Any ideas how i can fill their time, without using my own time, eg stopping and starting music for pass the parcel? Please.....x

I think it's really hard for you to do your job and entertain, I would offer the bags or nail art, but tell the mums they will need to perhaps pop a film on or find something else for them to do whilst you work! I offer nails and tatoo's and have a mate who does hair if they want it. I don't offer any entertainment so I can get on with what I'm doing.
I suppose if it is something you really want to be able to offer, what about jewelry making? You could show them how and then they get on with it? Threading beeds shouldn't take your time away from the nails??:)

I was at a party doing nails today 10 year olds and the mum was entertaining the kids she played a game with them that they had a dice and you had to roll it so first one rolled the dice and once they got a 6 they had to run up to a plate put on gloves and eat a chocolate bar with a knofe and fork until the next person rolled a six then they had to change gloves and they ate the chocolate until the 6 was rolled until the chocolate bar was finished and the kids loved it!

However I would suggest that you get the parents to entertain while your doing nails and tattoos.
