Panic on applying tips to nail bitter

ekks got a repair to do on a nail that has pinged and have run out of gel bond- could I use boost from the Fabric kit instead - would this be kinder than standard glue.. any ideas

I use boost when putting on tips with fabric as I find I can build the apex at the same time.
