Paper tanning knickers

Hey geeks,

I'm fairly new to spray tanning and just wanted some opinions. I received a box of disposable thongs in with my tanning kit, but they are rather on the skimpy side! Now I'm a larger lady (size 16-22 depending on the shop) and there's no way these lil things would get past my knees! I must admit I'm a bit embarrassed about offering them to clients, firstly, as they are quite skimpy and secondly, if they didn't fit them I'd be mortified ( & could possibly end up ruining their own undies)! I have ordered some more brief/knicker style ones so they cover more flesh but they are still sized rather small (In my plump opinion lol)

All the clients I have tanned so far have opted to wear there own undies so I was wondering are disposable ones even popular? Those of you that do a lot of tanning, do you find you actually have to reorder them etc, or do most ppl opt for own undies/ bikinis? And if they are popular, what do you do about us larger lasses? I ordered some disposable bras too, so same question- are they popular either? I don't mind stocking a couple of boxes just in case but I just wondered if they are actually needed. On a side note I was thinking would the knickers be useful for waxing? Do you waxers offer disposable pants as standard?

I haven't offered waxing treatments for a long time so probably couldn't comment.
With regards to tanning. I think it's great to have them in (just in case).

If you don't think they would fit a slightly larger lady, then I just wouldn't offer them.

I always tell my new clients to wear black underwear, that way you can't tell and it washes out anyway.

I've got a box of disposables with me everytime just 'incase' but all of my clients have opted to wear their own underwear.

I am a spray tan specialist and in my experience i can say its very rare i use disposable underwear but i do stock them just incase. I dont stock bras as i just think they are a waist of money, boobs are boobs and we all have them. Getting your boobs out is not a big deal as a pose to down below and 99.9% of my clients get their boobs out as then then are not restricted when picking what top to wear etc. Where as down below, whos going to see?

As for larger ladies......like you said majority of ladies tend to keep their own underwear on and many of my clients have "tanning knickers" so id suggest, you advise them to wear some old under wear or buy some "tanning knickers". Most clients will and qont mind this as its better and more comfortable for them

If you do find a larger lady asks for some disposable, just explain that they are one size and in your option appear rather small. Give them the option to try a pair on.

I have been tanning for some years and my box of disposable knickers only recently ran out. I won't be replacing.

I often tan larger ladies and they have either elected to wear their own knickers or gone commando. I have had ladies come with big knickers on who don't want to go nude so I encourage them to roll them up and in for the duration of their spray which works ok.

Regarding who is going to see down there....... well my husband for one and I'm not liking the big white ar5e look lol!

I've been tanning since November last year and my disposable knickers and bras remain unopened. I just advise clients to wear dark underwear and they're happy with that so far

I'm glad I have a few boxes for 'just in case' as I do like to be prepared but I will carry on with recommending they were their own. For the regular tanners having a pair of 'tanning knickers' set aside is something I didn't think of- hopefully I will get a few regulars and this will be a good suggestion for them, I don't know why, but I really like the idea lol!

I can see your point about the bras too, I don't think people batt an eyelid about getting boobs out nowadays and I think I got caught up in the moment.... they were in the clearance section for 6 for a pound! a pound!! (in hindsight, a clear sign of how popular they are right there haha!)

I started spray tanning a year ago and not one client has used the disposable knickers (I have 500 of the things! lol) my trainer called them 'one size fits none pants' lol

Iv been tanning along time same here I have boxes of unopened paper knickers and bras and nose plugs as people dont like to wear any of them. I now advise my clients to wear dark old underwear.

I however use lots of sticky feet and instead of a paper hats I use a shower cap and clean it after ever client works perfect.

But disposable undies are ideal to have just incase as u always get 1 lol.

Quite a lot of my clients use them. I think they like the fact they're just strings on each side so reduce tan lines. I do wish they came in small medium and large as I find them huge on smaller ladies to the point where the strings nearly come up to your waist and too small on larger ladies. Had a pair rip on a poor lady who was larger. I use them for waxing more often though. If they're having a standard or Californian I ask them to put them on so I can get clean lines as they are looser and smaller and not get wax on their own underwear.
