i cant remember who it was that suggested the decanting of paraffin wax into a baggie and putting the hand in and smooching it over etc, but id like to say huge thanks to that geek.

i have been going nuts trying to paint it on without a huge mess and do NOT like the thought of dipping....ehhhh

ive tried it on myself tonight and i must say it keeps the heat in soooooo well, and i dont wanna take it off:cry:

hope it works the same for feet....yay finally a good method for me

......any ideas on faster melting paraffin now:lol:

Yes, it works just as well on the feet!:)

Thats the way i was taught at college for both hands and feet, a lot less messy, just got to make sure its not to hot..xx

Hi,

That sounds like a brill idea. Do you just use the plastic bags that you wrap the hands/feet in anyways after you've put the wax on?

yeah they work fine. i do it over a bowl incase of small over flow from the bag and then stick another bag on that then a towel, it was soooo warm for ages:)

I've recently purchased these from GN&B Australia ... they've had great feed back here & have now turned paraffin treats into retail $'s & home care must have's.

I dont think I could do this..... I am having probs with my Paraffin Wax Treatments  I turn the heater up full to melt the wax and then turn it down so its not boiling....but because ive turned the heater down, the wax starts setting! How do you get around this? xx

I just move mine about in the bag for a bit if its to warm, what heater have you got..xx

I cant remember the name of it....(im not in the shop) I bought it from SalonServe. Ive emailed them to see what I should be doing but no reply as yet. Its fustrating!

Hi everyone.
I am a new geek and still don't really how this works! Anyway I am looking to buy a paraffin wax heater ready for september. Would anyone be able to tell me if you know of a good one on the market? I work in a shop so I could leave it switch on all night so that the wax is not cold for my first client in the morning. Please help if you can.
