Has anyone ever used a paraffin wax treatment to ease arthritic back pain? I have looked on the net and have seen info about hands, feet, knees and elbows, no mention of back pain. I have a customer asking for a treatment on his back.

I have an elderly client who gets this regularly.
I like to sit the client up on the couch and apply the wax to the back & shoulders. Tuck couch roll into the knickers to protect them from drips. Then lie the client back onto the couch ( I protect the couch with a big polythene sheet) and I switch on an electric pad under the couch towel. I cover them with blankets and leave them for about 30 - 40 mins. The paraffin wax will peel off, no probs and then I turn the client over and give a back massage.
