Evening all :)
I have a question regarding apprentices/ employees
What do you look for in an apprentice? How can you tell if an employee is going to be as passionate about the beauty industry as you?
What do you look for?
How long does it take you to realize they are not cut out or passionate enough for the job?

I think you should know after a couple of weeks .Really you know in less time than that but in fairness 2 weeks gives them the benefit of the doubt.
I'm not hardcore but let your gut instinct guide you. I imagine some people need time to settle in and that's fine but my opinion is that you either have it or you don't and giving an apprentice too long to shine is a very costly dragging out of the inevitable.

Instinct...do they have a lot of evident enthusiasm.

Dont confuse shyness and not being much of a talker for lack of enthusiasm but on the other hand i would expect someone with passion to have a lot to say about a subject.
