PAT testing mobile equipment

Hi

Been hanging around on the site for a while - something has come up today which I have been unable to find any info on.

As a mobile tanning and nail technician, do i need to get my electrical equipment (lamps, hvlp maching, foot spa etc) pat tested to use in client's homes?

Any help appreciated!

I would think it is a very sensible idea ... Do it ... then you know you are safe. It's not fun to be sued.

Will try and locate a local electrician - perhaps he'll barter for a spray tan!

i am lucky my other half can do mine , hes a sparky :lol:

just to letyou know a lot of firms do em for like £1 an item (i think thats if theres lots of items tho ) , i dont think it works out very expensive even at £5 an item
