Hi Geeks

I have had a call from a lady that has never had a spray tan but she says she has really sensitive skin and can i do a patch test.....now i said yes but i don't know how to do it?

usually for tints etc its a dot behind the ear...is it the same for tan?

Probably a silly qs but i would like to know

Tks

Hi

Patch test using a cotton bud dipped in solution. Put on either stomach area or back (somewhere it doesn't show!) at least 24 hrs before tan.

If she reacts (red bumps - similar to heat rash - or itches badly) don't tan her! Tell her to to wash off immediately and see gp for anti-histamines.

I normally do it the same way as above, but I do it behind the ear.
Any sensitive area is fine to use xx
