Hi,

I've had problems with patchy arms before, I had kind of a darker circle on the arms underneath the armpits - is this what you are experiencing? I concluded on this that it was when the client lowered their arms to their body after spraying, some of the solution from the side of their breasts rubbed off on their arms and left the darker circle because I had only sprayed very lightly on the inside of the arm. I just now make sure I spray properly on the insides of the arm and problem is solved!

Re the orange soles, you should ALWAYS be protecting the soles of the clients feet using either Sticky Feet stick on soles or by sticking some couch role to the soles and asking the client to shuffle round on them. The skin on the soles of the feet is thicker and as the spray tan solution falls onto the towel and your client moves around on it, the tan solution will take more intensely on this skin as you client is standing on it. Hence the orange feet my dear!!

Hope that helps.

Jen

Can i ask who you have done your spray tan training with Mandy,
as tantrick do not teach to spray across the body, we teach the vertical spray method

i done my training through a salon, she just advised me on what she found to be the best technique,im spraying my hubby 2rw,will try the vertical way.as i finkthis will suit me beta, thank u

While i think it is great that you have taken the training, was it a accredited course that enables you to get insurance ?
this is very important in this day and age of no win no fee suing cases,
i am saying this for your own good,
i would hate to see any member of this site up in court been sued for something that can be quite easily avoided,
if you have a certificate from this person and you want to be sure it is an accredited one all you have to do is ring and ask insurance companies like the guild or professional beauty hth

i did get a certificate+she did assure me i would be able to get insurance(which i did do through salon gold online) shall i ring them to check?? didnt realise this could happen?? how do i know if i have a valid certificate?,mandy

You can get in touch with the person that trained you and ask her who her courses are accredited by,
then when she tells you, you need to get in touch with that company and ask them if her courses are actually accredited by them,
her training does sound dubious, she should have passed on far more knowledge to you than she has done, hth
