Im looking for a little feedback from those of you who have employees.

If an employee earns under the limit for PAYE what are the normal procedures?

You need to fill in a P46 for each member of staff earning under the National Insurance and tax threshold. But do keep a record of the money you pay them as this is still an expense and must go through your books.

They should have sent you a E13 Day to Day Payrol when you registered as an employer, If not you can download it here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/e13.pdf

Thankyou, i did look on the hmrc site and found lots of info on PAYE. I should get a cd when i register with the relevent forms.
