Yup, a bit of a minging one folks :-/

Iv suffered with these very sore pea sized (probably bigger) lumps for years. They are normally very sore/tender for about a week before they come to a "head"

Anyone know what these are?

Ps. Im not a youngester and havent suffered frm acne etc.

Have you been to the doctors to get them checked?

Obviously no one on here will be able to diagnose. Maybe if you go to the doctors and get a diagnosis, someone on here may be able to help with how to deal with them once we know what they are. Hope you find out soon xxx

Could be some sort of sebaceous cyst from sounds of it - I agree that you need to get it checked by medical person and once you have a diagnosis then advice can be given like keeping out of the sun (prevents skin thickening) and using oil free products etc.

Ok, thanks guy's. The thing is, getting an app within a week is pretty much impossible and by then the spot is away.

What do you use on your skin? What make up and skin care? Do you have flare ups at the time of the month, or are they just now and then?
It's hard when you can't see someones face, and I can guarantee that a doctor won't ask you half the questions you'd get asked by a skin therapist. They would give you an ointment and send you on your way, unless they have a real interest in skin!!!
If you can answer the above as fully as possible, we may be able to offer some guidelines!!!

Is there anywhere near you that could offer a free consultation? That would probably be the best thing to do!

What about taking a picture/going to see the nurse?

Had a brainwave, I actually remember seeing a little black head a giving it a naughty little squeeze. Im also very prone to getting them between my brows after plucking. Id lake a pic but..... :o

What should I look for, some kind of skin specialist?

You could do worse than look for an Environ therapist - as it's what I use I know I can recommend. Our training is extensive and the products are fab.

If you can take a moment to answer the questions, there may be some glaring thing that you could change! Just a thought x
