Pedicure is something ive never really offered, i mainly stick to nail extensions but since i did mani and pedi way back in college 3 years ago i thought i m ight start offering it.

Obviously im gona practice on the boyfriend and my friends first but i just need to know im doing the steps correctly!

i have this so far!

Remove nail polish
Apply cuticle remover

Soak feet

Remove hard skin

Buff foot

Cutlicle work

Shape nails

Exfoliate foot and leg
Foot Mask (heated booties)

Perform foot and leg massage

Brush over toes with nail brush

Apply finishing touches e.g. polish, buffing.

Would you say this is correct order for a lux pedi? i dont think im missing anything but im still little confused with the order as ive not been doing it for years! haha

Thanks

Pedicure should be as follows:

Remove old nail varnish
Sanitise feet (soak)
Cut & File nails
Cuticle massage creme(massaged into cuticles)
Soak feet again with cuticle massage creme still on
Dry feet then push back cuticles (gently) with orange stick
Apply Cuticle remover
Use Cuticle knife ( if needed to lift cuticle from nail plate)
Use nippers (if needed to remove dead cuticle be careful of living cuticle)
Rask hard skin or if there is not much use an exfoliator scrub and remove
Massage
remove traces of oil from nail plate before polish
base coat
2 coats of colour
top coat
DONE!

I agree with pretty much this routine from Lisa however where i train our routine is
Sanitize
Pumice and file
Soak
Exfoliate
Remove in the foot bath
Cuticle massage creme
Soak

Then follow as Lisa said :)
I know everyone is trained differently but i did my Jessica Zen Spa this way as well.
