Hi, setting up a beauty room. If you only have one basin in your beauty room but no access to a ‘kitchen’ sink as such, can you pour the water from a foot spa down the hand basin sink? Obviously cleaning afterwards. Impossible to get of environmental health to check at the moment. Thank you

What you have will be perfectly fine and better than using your kitchen sink actually. Just so much more convenient.
There is nothing bad going down the sink and provided you sanitise your equipment after giving everything a thorough wash there should be nothing more to it.

I am sure you are doing that already because although Covid has really upped our awareness - Good nail techs have always practised excellent hygiene anyway.
I am using disposable pedicure packs from Cuccio if you have thought of that stage yet.

If you are a member of a professional body they will have a detailed "code of conduct" which will help you to be prepared for starting up, until the EH get involved.

Best of luck in your new venture by the way !
