This is my first post so hope im doing this correctly.

I have been a nail tech for almost 4 years, started to work in a very busy salon after a couple of months and now im the owner of this salon. I ve never really experienced problems with products up until recently (had some usual lifting at first but then figured it was down to product application, prep...)

I work with CND l&p. recently i started noticing that some of my clients are having lifting at the corners (near cuticle). It looks like the natural nail is peeling and the layers of the nail is seperating, causing the acrylic to eventually peel off. It started with just a few of my clients, now im seeing it on nearly every one.

I ve been trying to figure out the cause of this prob, but i really can t find a solution. i haven t changed products or the way i work. What i did change was my supplier, but as far as im concerned its a reputable supplier and im still buying CND products.

Any ideas??
Thanks

I would double check if your supplier is an authorised distributor of CND products first,
if they are not then who knows what you could be putting on your clients nails,
there are some dodgy people in this world,
if that's not the problem then its a case of looking at everything you do during a treatment one step by one step and finding out which part is causing the problem hth

I assume it is still a reputable CND supplier? Double check with CND before you do anything else. Then the CND geeks can start looking at other angles.

i bought my products from eznails (online). they all came in the new packaging and not at all different from the usual ones i get.
Thanks for the replies!
