What are the differences in your PEPing and PREPing, and for which services?

Just wondered what you all do that defines one or the other, as I always seem to be PREPing everything!?

The difference is the R which stands for remove shine.

So if you are applying an enhancement product then you would PREP but if you were applying a varnish say, then you would not need to remove shine. Shellac doesnt need the shine removed. I know some of the other polish plus/ coloured gel type products do and some dont.

It is best to stick with your manufacturers recommendation on which do or dont.

p = perform a manicure (i.e remove cuticle)
r = remove shine
e = eliminate contaminants
p = purify nail

pep is the same but as said before without removing the shine
