Hi, Im new to this site and acrylic nails too.

I have just been practising on my own nails and put clear extensions on my left hand with no problem. I decided I wanted french so I tried putting white acrylic on the tips of my nails but cant seem to get the smile line perfectly curved.
I put white tips on my right hand (experimenting) and even though my left hand is my wrong hand my right looks soooo much better than my left.

Any tips or tools/equipment I can use not only on myself but clients (Im new to nails) to help get that perfectly curved smile line you get from first using white tips please?

Appreciate any help possible guys.
Thanks

I've known other manicurists who have used tape to help them create a line so that they don't get a wiggly one.

Another thing you can do first is paint the white on first and then correct it from the back with an orangewood stick and cotton, THEN do the pink over it.

THE DOWNSIDE:
1. You can't get your white too thick.

2. It is less convenient for the client to touch up on their own (should they choose to), since there are two shades of color as apposed to one.

Keep practicing on yourself. I was SOOOOO intimidated by the request that I kept doing it on myself until I could do it blindfolded. Now I've transitioned a lot of my clients over, from color to French.
Good Luck!

I will fill in my profile thanks, as I said Im new to this site so please bear with me!!
