Hi Guys

Just bought some Performance tips, have used them a few times with my also recently bought PopIts :) I am now in heaven, produced quite a few lovely sets of nails this week and am amazed considering a couple of weeks ago I was close to taking extensions off my price list, either that or adding bed & breakfast to my price list because of the amount of time a set was taking me!!!

My questions is as superb as these tips are, is there anything I should know, ie are there any circumstances when these type of tips shouldn't be used. Is there really no need to blend them at all, even take the shine off....ever????

Also just out of curiosity, I found in my drawer (think they must have been given to me) some Pro Impression no well white tips but they have a V shape cut out at the end that attaches to the nail. What are these use for as I would think you would see the shape through any L & P you put over them??

Thanks guys

No need to blend these tips or take the shine off, but i still do because i like to take more bulk away (not that they need it because they are super thin anyway, i think its just habbit)
I don't use them on nail biters and really flat nail plates, i will use velocity tips instead.

These are used for a fancy french style. You would use them in the same way has the performance tips but the shine does need removing on the pro impression tips. Any natural free edge visable within the V shape would be filled with a coverage pink and butted up to but not going over the white tip and patted out into zone 2 (very thinly) then you would proceed with a clear L&P over the white tip and the rest OF zone 2 and 3 in either the same clear or your pink L&P.
Thanks guys
