Hi All, I know this is totally random and way way off subject, but I am off on holiday in less than 2 weeks  and am looking for some perfume samples (the little glass vials) to take with me as I dont really wanna take a few full size bottles with me, but cant seem to find any.
I have tried a few high street stores, but got a very negative reaction, I told them I didnt mind paying for them but they told me they wouldnt give me any without me purchasing something :irked: (which kinda defeats the object).
I have also looked on a certain auction site but most people are selling a few nice ones with loads of pongy ones.
Can anyone help????
Im stuck for places to go.

I got loads from Debenhams...i wouldn't tell them why you want them though.......i would say you get reactions to some perfumes after a few hours and would like a sample to see if this one suits. (its only a little white lie)

I went to Debenhams and the woman behind the counter was really snotty with me, she squirted a fragrance on a card and told me not to ask for the vials as they wouldnt give them away. Also had the same problem at the perfume shop except the lady in there just said I had to buy something first.

Is it just me or do they just seem like they wanna keep them for themselves????

Now I class that as a Fairly Fat Fib:green:

Why don't you buy a bottle of your favourite perfume from the Duty Free shop at the airport?

Or buy yourself an atomiser, they sell them in Boots for about £4 or so. Then you can just fill it from your own bottle of perfume.

I dont like to wear the same perfume all the time (I know, complete pain in the rear)
I have quite a few fragrances that I like and also have an atomiser, but the only issue I have with this is all of my perfumes are sprays and once it has been sprayed into the atomiser is really loses its smell, only thing I could do I try and open the bottle somehow which I think may be a silly thing to do as it would then prevent me from using it again.
I hope this makes sense?
Thanks for all the suggestions

Sainsburys and Superdrug sell travel size plastic bottles.
From lidded ones to spray ones for 99p.

On the plane and in the airport , even in Argos I have seen small boxed gift sets
that has a mix of teeny bottles of classy perfumes , these may be good for you to take  x

.

Thanks to all for your ideas, still not sure what I'm gonna do, but better get my thinking cap on as Ive only got a week before I go!!

Have you tried Superdrug, they sometimes get little tester bottles HTH

I bought a miniature bottle of Flowers by Kenzo (I could swim in that) and I know they sell Burberry and I think I saw Cool waters for women in there too. They do quite a few, might be worth a look.

I got a gorgeous set of Dior miniatures for Christmas, think it was from Boots, four dinky bottles in a set. Just a thought. Or if you want vials, why not go on the perfume's website and see if you can phone or e-mail for free sample x

I went to both of my local superdrug stores and they only had scents I didnt like (I know, Im fussy)

Ive tried to find websites to get scents but most of them are for the U.S only or they send you a scented wipe thing.

Thanks for all of your great ideas :)

Hi

You can buy little bottles of perfume all different makes in shops at around £4.99 each. I know the shop called "Body Care" sell many different types of perfumes and I think "Superdrug" may also sell the small bottles also. These are ideal for taking away on holiday with you.

Buy a really expensive bottle from Debenhams etc and they give you loads of samples.
But can you not just buy a massive bottle at Duty Free of one you really like?
Or even a small bottle of something nice?
What about those packs you can buy with about 10 small bottles in on the plane??

I might buy the expensive bottle and hope they give me loads, I can never have to much perfume.:)
Im flying with Monarch, do they do they miniature bottles on the flight?
