hi everyone.
for anyone who has used both perma gloss and glaze n go (or anyone who has had it used on their nails)

which do you prefer and why?

i've read through the posts on these items but cant seem to come to a conclusion.

a lot of the posts are about the time perma gloss takes and that glaze n go is more expensive.

but which has the best result, long lasting shine, protection ect.

on nsi it says perma gloss protects against water, acetone, oil and household chemicals. does glaze n go do the same thing?

thanks

As a client and an aspiring tech, I prefer Glaze n Go. It is quicker, offers that same end result and, I feel, easier to control the thickness of coverage due to it applying like a polish :) Sorry I can't offer a professional view hun but hope that helps in some way xx

every opinion helps, thank you

Ive been doing nails in the u.k. for 6 years and have used both perma gloss and glaze & go. I find glaze & go easier to use as its like a clear nail polish and easier to work with. Although the last few times i have used it, it has gone quite brittle and seems to shatter. I also tried it on myself and found the same. Wondering if its something to do with the weather? The perma gloss is also nice but has the consistency of vaseline. Out of the two i slightly prefer the perma gloss. Your best bet is to buy both and make up your own mind they are not expensive products and they are both good. HTH

Glaze 'n Go is definitely quicker and offers great results that will last for 2 weeks, but the application technique isn't fool-proof. It can be applied too thin (which can cause cracks) or too thick (which can cause "spikes"). Most people prefer it over Perma Gloss for it's ease of application (and once you get proper coverage down, you won't have issues).

Perma Gloss is definitely your highest shine and the longest lasting. It's also impossible to mess up the application (we get ZERO troubleshooting inquiries with Perma Gloss).

So you see, both have their advantages. You'll just have to figure our which will work best for you!

By the way, both are resistant to solvents (i.e. have to be filed off).

thanks everyone,
i've bought both products and am wearing the perma gloss at the mo.
i found it very easy to apply especially as i've never used any gels before.
very self leveling when left for a min before curing and a great shine.
but a bit sticky and messy opening the pot.
when i do my infills i'll try the glaze and go
