So I did my first perm in 15 years!!! A little out of touch!! 😅
It was a mens perm so only the top section..virgin hair!!
I used loreal ducia tonica for natural hair followed manufacturers instructions and it has not taken at all!!!
Can I re perm the hair after 2 weeks??
And can I use an alkaline perm to redo it!?? It was done with an acid perm!

Any guidance will be appreciated 🙏

Acid perms are quite mild, usually best for extremely fine hair, or sensitised hair.
You could perm again whenever because there's no curl, but you also have to consider even though there's no curl, the hair is now chemichally treated.
So I'd probably opt for one for colour treated hair.
I'd highly recommend schwarzkopf hydro wave Glamour 2

Great, thanks 😊

Strange it didn’t take , rinse thoroughly before neutralising , a good five mins , and blot really well as Neutraliser will be diluted x

Has the client been using 2 in 1 shampoo as this can create a barrier on the hair.
