Hello, Could anyone tell me if you retail his item as part of your wax aftercare. I spoke to PR yesterday about the retail recommended price to clients as I'm about to change to Perron Rigot but I was told we are not allowed to retail to clients and that it's written on the pack that its for professional use only. Is this true and if anyone retails it, can you say how much you retail the 200ml for? I believe to get the best out of your wax treatment, a client should be able to have an after wax lotion. Thanks

Just bumping this up a little.

I don't, I use PR wax but now use Australian Bodycare for all my afterwax products. I've had so much positive feedback, some preferring it to the PR one.

I like to be able to tie in treatment product and retail product together, so now I have ABC Happy Hands to clean hands, then use their Hand & Body Lotion in the treatment, and have that and Skin Wash as a retail product. If the client doesn't buy either I offer a sample sachet of skin wash, and if they've had intimate or chest waxing a sachet of Hand & Body Lotion too.

I'm actually really pleased with how I am doing with retail for this line now! Never had any luck with retailing, but its nice to have found something people like & want.

Mat

Hello people, any contribution will be highly appreciated as I need to make a decision by tomorrow. I've used a different brand of aftercare but don't really like it. I still use perron rigot for my warm and hot wax. Thanks

I'm looking at a 200ml bottle of PR milk and there is nothing on there to say it's professional use only. Neither is there on the gel or either of the 500ml bottles.
I double what I pay for it to get a retail price.

I retail PR moisturising milk and the refreshing gel ( 200ml tubes) as well as other products.
I cant understand as I recently spoke to PR as I wanted some images for my retail range so I can add these to my website and they sent me the images.

Perhaps things have changed since this was originally posted..

I can't see that this is right……………surely they would want you to retail the smaller sizes so maybe they thought you meant the larger professional sizes.

I'll email Thalgo and get this clarified for you.

Thank you for all your replies. I definately spoke to someone over the phone at Thalgo and this was the information I was given. I'll speak to them after the bank holiday and I'll be ordering some moisturizing lotion. What do you recommend is best to get? ie the moisturizing lotion or the refreshing gel? Also would you be kind to PM me the prices you retail them for. Thank you.

I use more of the refreshing gel, as

sorry.. my message went before I finished...

I use more of the refreshing gel as I prefer this after the intimate waxing treatments and I retail more of that than the moisturising milk. If its general body waxing I often use a little of each product.

PR will give you the RRP and thats what I use as with most retail its calculated accordingly.

Good luck Jack

It says on the front, smal font in 3 languages: professional use.

Anyway, did you guys receive letter from talgo asking to attend training once a year with Kim or Andy?? Spending £400 on wax per year ok, but why train again?????

Ah, you must have the old style bottles, with the blue writing. The new ones with the dark red writing don't have that on it.

This is for the expert network isn't it? I thought it was to make sure that standards were maintained if you come under that umbrella, as they want everyone in it to be a good waxer. Just what I thought anyway :)

Yes, it must be old. I just digged it out few days ago and I'm moiturizing myself with it, like the smell :) For clients refreshing gel works better.

Ok then, do you have to go back and train again with your other beauty treatments?

Thats only if you want to become part of the new PR Expert Network scheme. It is optional if you want to be part of it but the criteria is that you only use PR waxes, spend a min of £400 a year and that you have been trained by Andy or Kim. The annual refresher is the discovery day.
Expert Network is a great opportunity for more business coming our way...

Jack

oh, ok, i'be been trained by Kim and spending £400 on wax per year it's not a problem. I'm still not sure about PR network scheme...
Thanks for explaining :)

Thankls everyone. The refreshing gel it is then.

Refreshing gel for me.

Yes, I think they need to clarify that the annual training required is only to join the Perron Rigot network and nothing to do with my own training business or Andy's. Hope that helps.
