Is it ok to use the c ocean for eyebrows and can I apply the jasmine oil underneath? xx

Yes you can use the strip wax for eyebrows too. I use strip wax and non-strip wax on eyebrows, depending on the client. Put oil under both waxes :)

Thanks angelina.

Tried the non-strip for eyebrows and it was great, was just thinking in terms of c ocean being quite transulcent, do you find in ok?

x

I'v always used the eurorose non strip for eyebrows and facial waxing. I'v found it great and clients like it as the redness goes very quickly.

Strip wax leaves grazes on me. Euroblonde works fab for my eybrows, but quite the opposite for my daughter who has very sensitive skin.

Euroblonde grazes her, so going to try Cristal strip next time. trust me, I stretch and temp is fine, but she is left with pink oozy landing strips .

She still love me :green:!

Angelina, I was just about to answer then you did, I tend to use PR strip wax for eyebows as Kim trained me to do and have been getting great results.

Can I ask, when you would use non-strip wax with eyebrows? I am really toying with trying the non-strip so would really like to know your opinion.

Thanks in advance :)

I prefer using the non-strip on thinner skins as i just feel that it's gentler and i'm always wary with the skin being so thin there anyway. Also some clients can go quite red so on those clients i prefer to use the non-strip too. :)

I wondered that too. Exactly the same happens to me if I use strip wax it grazes yet non strip doesn't so I stick to using non strip on eyebrows now even though at collage we were told to use strip on eyebrows and all facial waxing because it is a lower temperature - I am confussed why strip wax does that though as everywhere I read it says to use it on eyebrows. (I do always put oil underneath both). xx

I think it is because the strips are harsher on your skin which is why hot wax is better for the face. With Perron Rigot, the hot wax grips around the hair and not the skin, whereas using strips can actually remove skin...I think.

Not the case for my daughter though but that could be because she is 15yrs old and has more sensitive skin.

I have actually only ever once ripped someones skin and i was using non-strip wax
I was mortified! It was a guy and i would have normally used strip wax but i was doing his nose and ears at the same time so just used the non-strip without even thinking.
I have never seen anyone go so red and there was a tiny pink mark too. I knew it would probably scab but i couldn't understand it and asked if he was taking any medications that i didn't know about. I said i would pluck the other eyebrow! That too went bright red just from plucking! He's a body builder and i asked again if he was taking anything. Anyway he was so that explained the thin skin! Dread to think what it would have been like if i had used the strip wax
Good job i hadn't put it on both eyebrows before removing!
This is why it's usually best to use non-strip wax for the first time.
