Pink stains on Buff off Gel...

My client this morning arrived and she had this pink stain on all her nails....she explained how she had brought and used this stuff from Avon....here.....AVONSHOP- Products

You paint it on and then paint on the clear top coat and it changes colour.

Thing is I use a non soak off gel....and nothing ever stains them....curry...ink...hair dye....nothing. I used acetone on a wipe to see if it would lift the stain out but nope...didnt touch it.

In the end i had to buff it off with a file....:irked:

What on earth is in this stuff....?? I have never known anything to stain my gel...the skin, yes...the new nail growth, yes..the gel NO.

So beware....any client s come with pink stained nails...ask them if Avon has called.

How the heck will Avon customers remove it from their natural nails then? How bizarre.

I know what you mean about buff-offs. NOTHING changes their colour.

And what is the purpose of having a coat to change the original colour to some mystery colour? I don't get it. Wouldn't it just be easier to buy the colour you like???? What an odd product.....

in the brochure i saw it used to make a 2 tone french. you put on the main colour and then paint the clear one on the free edge to change the tip colour.

my mum had it on her natural nails (shes an avon lady) and it came off fine with nsi polish remover.
