Hello ,
I'm on the way of opening my new salon and I was wondering if anyone knows if I need to pay license to play a music if I pay Tv license?Do I need to pay both or if enought if I pay Tv license only?
Thanks

You have to have both. You definitely need a music license. 2 in fact. PRS and PPL. If you have a TV but are not watching programs - ie showing pics of nails on a TV with background music, you only need a music license. If you have an aerial and are showing the tele then you will obviously need a TV license as well. Remember this only covers you for the BBC channels and is nothing to do with the music you play. Check with the licensing companies. Then check again as they will often tell you different every time!
There is a range of license free music that you can use which is, as it says, license free!
