Am new to the forum:lol:

Am very very interested in changing my career, again :lol:.
Years ago I used to do fibreglass and silk nails

I would like to know what is the best gel's and acrylic to use?
what is the most popular as there are sooooo many on the market!!!:lol:

I did star nails 13 years ago! long time I know, I need to do a another course to get my self up to top standard, and things have changed so much, for the better :lol:

the sure have...but i still say that a set of silks look amazing...so natural.

For training I personally recommend Creative Nail Design....but theres alot of good company/brand training out there...i would ring round and get as much info as you can on as many as you can....then type the names of those you feel most drawn to on here and see what other people are saying about them. xx

Can not recommend CND more for there training. xxx They really focus on natural nail care not just how to do a set of enhancments. They teach you WHY not just HOW. xxx

Gigi Rouse (one of the industry greats) trains in Spain, Costa Blanca.
You wouldn't go wrong with her training, she's a fabulous educator and mentor

I have heard a lot about Gigi, and have seen pictures of Gigi work on here and would love to produce my nails to that standard. How do I go about getting in touch, I have seen some training advertised in our local paper offering training in the local saloons.

Could you offer me some advice please as am new to this and not knowing many people who can help me out.

There are a lot of 'training companies' over here, some are accredited and some are not, some have lots of educator experience and some don't.
You won't (in my opinion) get better training in Spain than with Gigi, if you have certificates from your previous training then I think you'd be ok to do a conversion, but you'd have to check with her directly to find out.
