please help, daughter is colouring her hair

My daughter has dark brown hair with red high lights in in which are really faded now.
She has just informed me she has now got a dark brown dye to put all over then she is putting blonde high lights in, anyone tell me if this would work or would it go orange.

Please help I need the info soon as she is at her friends ready to do it as we speak.

I wouldnt advise her to put blonde highlights over dyed brown hair because she will end up with orange highlights if not done properly. I would get a salon to do the changes
