I have been on here a few times before, and there is some amazing nail tech and artists on here. I would love to make a living out of nails, but no in my hearts of hearts to do this i need to pick a system and train to the best of my ability. Please could you give me any suggestions, courses in derbyshire and prices of courses. I fancy acrylic only because alot of my friend are horse riders and feel that this is a strong nail enhancement to have. Please help me. This is my last shot and if i can not drum up the business this time and do a good job then i am gonna call it a day

Hi Jenny,

Have a look at this link hun....
http://www.salongeek.com/education-sites/

You'll find lots of info on different training places here.

Personally I'm not sure who's in derbyshire, but Creative (CND) have education Academy's in Leeds, so not sure how long that would take.

Best thing to do would be to contact all the Nail Distributors & companies & ask them to send you some training information and price lists as they all have different prices and types of courses.

You ccan't go far wrong with Companies such as CND, EzFlow, NSI.

Good luck xx

just read about the pinks academy, from what i have read they are not able to give the correct training or certificate for creative and if i am going to do this one last time need to do it properly. Leeds is not to far about three quatres of an hours drive. I think i would do the whole course again and start from scratch. Who do i contact about the course and how much would i be looking at. I have heard so much positives from the geeks about creative but also some about ez flow not quite sure about the differences though

I'm new to this myself well sort of anyway, But if you havn't trained before in beauty or nails then you will be required to produce your C+G cert in Manicure before they will let you do the course. You can do this as a quick course but i'd say better to go to college as it goes into more than the nail and would be hard to absorb the info in a day or 2. If you have done this i appologise for making you suck eggs. I dont know of any in your area. Good luck

Creatives L&P Foundation is £545.95 plus VAT and is over 5 days, you do not need a C+Gs in Mani or Pedi for this.

I am qualified to level 3 and have my nail extensions certificate which is a diploma, but want to train in a specific product and perfect so to speak
