Please help - PopIt popped off

Advice Please...:cry:
12 days ago I applyed a set of tips and popits to a girl I work with and today in work she banged her finger and the acrylic nail and tip came clean off. I've not had this problem before.
I've been thinking about this all day and this is what I've come up with.:idea:
Some of her nails had quite deep ridges running accross them due to illness so the acrylic in zone 2 or 3 would'nt have had a flat surface to lie on, or have I maybe not removed all the shine from the nail because of the ridges or could it be something to do with the fact that she had very flat nail plates and I used performance tips from creative.
Or could it be something else?

Has this happened to anyone else ?

Sorry to go on but wanted to tell you as much as possible so you might be able to help me I would love to know what you geeks thinkxxx

For goodness sakes ... she banged her nail and broke it. Are all the others coming off? NO!!!

Repair it and put a new one on.

no sorry I thought I'd put in that she has lost 2 others already. She said they just fell off and I thought yeh right. I did'nt know that if you bang your nail there was a change that the nail would come off I just thought it would crack or snap the free edge or cause lifting so thanks for that.
I was so amassed and suprised to see this perfect wee nail on the floor.
