Polish over Brisa

This is probably a silly question to which I should know the answer:o
If a client always wears polish is it neccessary to apply the gel top coat or could I just apply the polish to the refined surface.
To my mind it seems silly to apply a shiny surface that will never be seen

What I tell my clients is if you just want to wear Polish then there is no need for the topcoat but if they want to wear them Natural as well as having Polish then the topcoat will give them a shinny surface when the polish is removed.
This works very well but I always tell them to apply a basecoat before the polish especially if it is a dark colour just to prevent any risk of colour staining the Gel.

I have a few clients that have a Permanent French but also like to wear Polish from time to time and with the UV Topcoat applied they always stay nice.:hug:

I have one client who always has enamel with her Brisa overlays, I never apply the Finishing Gel, just buff to a natural shine then continue with enamel application (ie base coat, colour then top coat).
